pork chops are a delicious cut of meat that can be made in many different ways. Pork chops are often served as a hearty meal, either with some side dishes or by themselves as a main dish. In this cooking guide, we will demonstrate how to make a delicious pork chop that can be made in an air fryer. The air fryer is a great way to make a quick and easy meal when you don’t have much time to cook.
Heat up the fryer (Easiest way)
The more time you spend in the kitchen cooking, the more grittier the meat becomes. The best time to cook meat is before you eat it. In fact, there are some studies that show that the longer you cook the meat, the more you need to do. Overcooked meat can be so tough, that you can’t chew it, and it can also cause food poisoning.
Chop 2 to 3 pork chops in two batches
Chop 2 to 3 pork chops in two batches. Arrange pork chops in air fryer on a rimmed baking sheet. Set the air fryer to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Cook 3 minutes. Turn pork chops. Cook 3 more minutes or until meat thermometer inserted in thickest part of pork chop reads 155 degrees F (68 degrees C). Remove pork chops from air fryer using a slotted spoon.
Make sure the chops are trimmed and cut in half
When cooking pork chops, it is important to trim the meat from the fat. Trimming fat can make the meat less tender, so take care to trim it properly. Next, cut the chops in half, cutting through the bottom so that they will lie flat and will cook evenly. You can cook pork chops in an air fryer. The next step is to slice or pound the chops to an even thickness of about 1/2-inch. When cooking pork chops in an air fryer, you can cook them at a lower temperature. This can help them cook more evenly. To cook them at a lower temperature, you will need to reduce the time the pork chops are cooking. You can cook them in the air fryer for about 5-7 minutes per side, depending on how done you want them to be.
Add seasoning to each side of the pork chop
Combine the seasoning for each side of the pork chop. Take the pork chop and cut the meat into smaller portions. Combine the seasoning with the pork chop. Fill the air fryer with cooking oil. Put the pork chop in the air fryer and cook for 20 minutes. Turn the pork chop and cook for an additional 20 minutes. Check to make sure the pork chop is done. If not done, continue cooking for an additional 5 minutes.
Cook at 230°C for 12 minutes
After the pork is done, you can use a thermometer to check the temperature of the pork. Once the thermometer reads 160°C, this means the pork is cooked. To make sure you don’t overcook it, you can turn off the air fryer. You may want to cool the pork chop for a few minutes to let the temperature drop a little before you eat it. It’s a good idea to check the temperature of the pork chop after a few minutes to make sure it’s not too overcooked. Some people like their pork cooked very well, while others prefer theirs a little bit more on the raw side. For the latter, you can turn the pork chop a little pinker if you like.
