I used to buy my pork tenderloin from a local deli but lately I’ve been eating them in the Instant Pot. I got it for $10 and it cooked perfectly.

What Is Instant Pot?

The instant pot is an electric pressure cooker, which allows you to cook food quickly and easily. This makes it perfect for preparing large amounts of food, as well as single-serving portions. It can also save a lot of time, as it cuts down on the amount of time you spend preparing the food.

Cook Your Favorite Instant Pot Pork Tenderloin

Cooking with an Instant Pot has never been easier. Once you have cooked your favorite pork tenderloin, you can use the following directions to store it in your refrigerator for a later date. Season the pork with salt and pepper and cook it on saute mode. Once the meat is cooked, let it cool for 5 minutes. Pat it dry with a paper towel and place it in a resealable bag. You may use a vacuum sealer to help save space in the bag. After you have stored the tenderloin in the freezer, cook it on the stove. This method of cooking is great for larger cuts of meat. They have a lower fat content and have a higher percentage of leaner protein than other cuts of meat. You can also add the pork to a casserole or other dish.

How To Make Pork Tenderloin, Pork Chops or Corned Beef in the Instant Pot

To make the pork tenderloin, pork chops or corned beef, place 2-3 pounds of the lean meat into the pot. Make sure that the meat is trimmed of any bone. Add the vegetables, tomato paste, seasoning and liquid. Close the lid and seal. Cook on high pressure for 45 minutes. After the 45 minutes is complete, manually release the pressure. Open the lid and flake the meat with a fork. Serve hot with sauce of your choice. Enjoy!

How Long Should I Cook It?

The first thing I do when I cook meat is I check to see if it’s done. The best way to do this is to insert a meat thermometer. Insert the thermometer into the thickest part of the meat and leave it there until the thermometer registers 130°F. If the temperature is lower than that, it needs to be re-cooked. Make sure to take a meat thermometer with you on your next cooking adventure. Cooking pork tenderloin should only take 30 minutes. Letting it cook in the Instant Pot only adds an extra 20 minutes, so make sure you get in there sooner rather than later.
