Cooking a turkey
Cooking a turkey is a lot of work and requires a lot of time. It’s also something that you can do at home, saving you money and saving you time. This guide will help you choose the right turkey for cooking, how to cook a turkey and how to carve a turkey. The best way to choose a turkey is to look at the weight, since this is the amount of meat you’ll be cooking. A 25 to 35 pound turkey should cook well in a slow cooker or on a stovetop. If you have a large turkey, it’s usually better to cook a couple of smaller turkeys and serve them as individual meals.

How long to cook 18 lbs turkey? The best way to answer this question is by finding out how large the turkey is. We recommend using the cooking guide here. Let us know how you cooked your turkey in the comments below.
Prepping a turkey
The first thing to do is to make sure that the turkey is at room temperature. We’ll talk more about turkey later, but for now, let’s say you have room temperature turkey. This is an important step, because the internal temperature of the turkey will rise when you’re cooking it. If the turkey isn’t at room temperature, it will overcook. When you’re done with the turkey, you’ll want to separate the breast meat from the legs. This is because the breast meat is more delicate. If you want to eat the legs, then be careful to not cook them any longer than the breast. The breast meat can be cooked medium rare, but the legs should be cooked medium. Remove the turkey from the breast and legs. The next thing to do is remove the skin and fat from the breast. After you’ve done this, you’ll want to cut the breast into eight pieces. You can do this by cutting along the bone, but it’s generally easier to separate the breast into two pieces. Then cut those into four pieces. The next thing to do is to cut the legs into two pieces. Then, cut the pieces in half. Now, you’re ready to cook the turkey.
Warming up a turkey
To cook a whole turkey, start by thawing your frozen turkey in the refrigerator. Next, preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Once your oven is preheated, place the turkey inside of it, breast side up. The temperature of the turkey should be around 185 degrees F. This temperature can vary based on the size of your turkey. Depending on the size of your turkey, you may have to set your oven timer for a little longer. In addition, when you remove the turkey from the oven, make sure to cover it with aluminum foil to keep the breast side warm. Once you’re finished cooking the turkey, let it sit for 30 minutes. Once your turkey is sitting, you can take off the foil and place it on a table to rest.
Buying a turkey
A 5-pound or 6-pound turkey is the size of a typical Thanksgiving turkey. However, a 20-pound turkey will feed most families. If you are cooking a 20-pound turkey, you will need a roaster that is large enough to hold the turkey. A roaster that will accommodate 20 pounds is roughly the size of a refrigerator. The size of your turkey will also dictate whether you purchase a whole or a cut-up turkey.
