This recipe is from my book “The Cookbook”. paraphrasing: I used to make this gravy using the leftover water from the boiling of meats. I would mix the cooked meat with all the vegetables and gravy together. Then I wrapped the entire thing tightly in aluminum foil and placed it in my fridge. When I needed to use it again, I just took out the foil package and added the ingredients to my pot. You can do the same thing with any other recipe.
