The Cooking Time Of Smoked Turkey Legs
A smoked turkey leg (also called a “turkey leg”) is a roasted whole turkey leg. It is often smoked, with the bone left in, which makes it very meaty. Smoked turkey legs are a popular snack in the United States, but not all turkey legs are treated equally. Some are relatively soft, others have a tough skin that must be removed before eating. Different methods of smoking turkey legs will affect the cooking time. Smoked turkey legs tend to have a longer cooking time than other types of roasted turkey meat. Here is the basic cooking time of smoked turkey legs for various methods of cooking:

So, here’s the deal. How long to boil smoked turkey legs? You see, the first step is to cook the legs until the internal temperature reaches 165º F. Then you have to allow the legs to rest for about 20 to 30 minutes. And the last step is to brush the legs with olive oil. However, turkey legs should only take about 45 minutes to cook. How to Cook Turkey Legs
One of the greatest things about Thanksgiving is the food. The days leading up to Thanksgiving are typically a time of indulgence. And what better way to indulge than with roasted turkey legs? There are many different ways to cook turkey legs, but one of the most popular is the quick barbecue method. In this method, you put turkey legs on a grill over hot coals. While this method is ideal, you may find it takes longer than you’d like. So, here’s another cooking method that will save you a lot of time. It’s the oven method. For this method, you put the turkey legs in a pan with an amount of water that is just enough to cover the turkey legs. Then you cover the pan with foil.
