To keep raw salmon frozen for up to three months, place it in a sealable freezer bag, then place the bag in a sealed plastic container. To thaw raw salmon, place the frozen salmon in the refrigerator for at least two hours, or overnight. Once the salmon has thawed, take it out of the refrigerator and cook it as desired.
