When the 30 minutes has passed, drain the potatoes and place them into an ice bath. This will help to cool them down and stop them from cooking any further. Once the potatoes are cool, drain the water and place the potatoes in a clean mixing bowl. They should be fully cooled by this point. Next, place the potatoes on a plastic cutting board. Then, place a box grater on top of the potatoes and grate them. After the grating is complete, drain the bowl and rinse the potatoes with cold water

Ovens can be set to various temperatures, ranging from 400 to 550 degrees Fahrenheit (204 to 288 degrees Celsius). They can be placed on a baking tray and cooked for 30 to 60 minutes or until the desired doneness is achieved. Depending on the size of the potato, this can take anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes, so it’s always a good idea to check on them. This is important because potatoes that are too hot will burn before they are done. To help prevent this, you should cover the potatoes with foil until they are done, and you can also brush them with oil to prevent them from sticking. After they are done, let them sit for 10 to 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
How To Test Potatoes For Doneness
