For this video I’m gonna do bone in chicken because it’s easier to me to make, and I have the oven set. So we’re just gonna make it as a bone in chicken. We’re gonna put in the oven and then we’re just gonna put the chicken on for about forty-five minutes, and then we’re gonna turn it over and then we’re just gonna put it back in the oven for another fifteen to twenty minutes and we’re just gonna let it bake for about forty-five minutes and then we’re gonna take it out and we’re gonna put it on the counter and we’re just gonna let it come to room temperature. Once it’s room temperature we’re gonna put it back in the oven. So now we’re gonna let it bake for about an hour and we’re just gonna turn it over and let it bake for another thirty to forty minutes and we’re just gonna take it out and let it come to room temperature and then we’re gonna put it back in the oven for an hour. That’s how long to bake a pound of chicken.

Extra Fat

If you choose the wrong temperature to bake your chicken, it can end up with an extra pound of fat on top. That extra fat has been shown to be detrimental to health. If you bake your chicken at 350 degrees for a long period of time, you can end up with a lot of extra fat on top. However, if you choose the right temperature and baking time, you’ll be able to get a perfect meat-to-fat ratio.

How to Cook a Pound of Chicken

Cooking a pound of chicken is relatively easy and doesn’t take too long. It’s best to cook the meat on high heat for about half an hour. This allows the chicken to brown and crisp. Once the meat is browned, lower the heat to low and cook for an additional half an hour. To help the meat come out of the chicken, turn the chicken upside down every 20 minutes. Another tip to keep the chicken moist is to cover it with a wet towel. Cook the chicken in the oven at 350° F for approximately 40 minutes.
