How long does it take to cook raw chicken?

If you are cooking a large chicken, you will want to cook it for longer than if using bone broth. You can cook a chicken for less time if it has already been frozen.
How long does chicken take to cook on stove?
You don‘t want too much fat in your pan, so cook two pieces of chicken breast at once. You do want enough fat to keep the meat moist, though, otherwise it will dry out. If you are cooking chicken thighs, cook them for about 6 minutes per side, flipping them halfway through. When the internal temp is 165 degrees, add the butter, stir, turn off the heat, cover, let rest for 10 minutes. Can you eat overcooked chicken?
