How Long Do You Bake the Pepper?

Tips for Baking the Pepper

Stuffing the Pepper

For these stuffed peppers, you’ll need: 1 jar of pasta sauce, 1/2 jar of salsa, a small can of black olives, 1 green pepper, 1 zucchini, 4oz of pepperoni and sliced pepperoni, 1 can of diced tomatoes, 1 cup of grated cheddar cheese, 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella, a pinch of garlic powder, and 1 cup of extra virgin olive oil. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Wash and core the peppers and slice them lengthwise. Slice the zucchini into thin strips. In a bowl, combine the cheddar cheese and black olives. Spread the mixture evenly over the entire surface of each pepper. Next, arrange the zucchini slices over the peppers so that they cover the entire surface. Mix the black olives and salsa together in a separate bowl. Spoon the salsa over the zucchini. Sprinkle the mixture of garlic and black olives over the peppers. Finally, pour the olive oil over the peppers. If the peppers are large, cut them in half before placing them in the oven. Bake them for 40 minutes and serve. If you like, you can add garlic and your favorite spices to your stuffed peppers for an even more flavorful version of this dish.
