How To Make Baked Chicken
In this video, I’ll show you the proper way to make baked chicken. You’ll find the steps for the process are very easy, and can be done in about ten minutes. First, you’ll want to get the chicken out of the refrigerator so that it can come to room temperature. It’s important to keep the chicken as cold as possible while it’s cooking. This is to make sure that the chicken has the best texture. Once it’s in the kitchen, you’ll want to pat it dry with paper towels. After you’ve done this, you’ll be able to get started. Place the chicken breast on a cutting board. On the underside of the chicken breast, you’ll find a thin area. You’ll want to score this area. Scoring the chicken breast allows the exterior of the chicken to get crispy and the interior of the chicken to get tender. After you’ve scored the chicken, you’ll place it breast side down in a shallow container. You’ll want to remove any excess pieces of fat, and pour about 1/3 cup of water into the container. The water will create steam. This steam will keep the chicken breast from drying out. You’ll want to place the container in the oven. Cook the chicken for about 20 to 25 minutes, depending on the size of the chicken breast.
