Lamb and Pork can both be frozen for 2 to 3 days before cooking time. Chicken can only be cooked for 3 hours before freezing. Pork and beef can stay fresh for about 1 week after being cooked. Frozen fish can last up until 2 weeks.
How long are pork chops uncooked good for in the fridge?
Fresh, raw pork meat can stay fresh for up to four days, regardless how long it has sat in storage. Pork chops will keep for three weeks in their raw state, while roasted pork will last for six weeks. When cooking, however, this time frame depends on what you’re cooking. If you are cooking a pork dish, such as pork chop, you want to cook it for longer than when roasting. You don’t want it to dry out too much. And remember, once cooked properly, there is no need to refrigerate it. Just reheat it in whatever way you like. But if something is going to be stored for extended periods of time, I would suggest keeping it cold. Cold temperatures do not allow the bacteria and other pathogens to multiply as much as warm temperatures. So if it gets too warm, chances are it will spoil faster.
