Unfortunately, many people do not realize how risky eating chicken that has been undercooked can be. In fact, an estimated 5 million people get food poisoning from chicken every year. In fact, it’s the most common source of bacterial food poisoning. To avoid dangerous food poisoning, it’s important to handle and cook food correctly. The first step is to check the food’s cooking temperature. This includes temperatures like 135° Fahrenheit (57° Celsius) and 45° Fahrenheit (7° Celsius). Also check the food for signs of spoilage, such as discoloration, sliminess or unappetizing odors. If the food is spoiled or dangerous, do not eat it. You can also avoid dangerous food poisoning by cooking the chicken thoroughly. Cooking the chicken until it is fully cooked will prevent bacteria from growing. Additionally, you should use a meat thermometer to ensure that the meat is thoroughly cooked.

However, some consumers believe that it is safe to eat chicken that has not been fully cooked, provided it is reheated. This belief was common until a case of Campylobacter food poisoning was discovered in a chicken restaurant in Dublin, Ireland. In that case, the authorities ruled that the restaurant had served an unsafe quantity of uncooked chicken that had been reheated and was a factor in the outbreak. The Authority stated that the cooked chicken must be cooked thoroughly and at the correct temperature for the food to be considered safe.
How To Get Rid of the Germs in Chicken?
When you’re dining out, it’s smart to ensure you’re eating food that is safe to eat. This means ensuring the food is fully cooked. But many restaurants, especially in busy restaurants, do not cook their food properly. You can see this when you look at the back of the menu – sometimes they list “ready to eat”, or even “eat immediately”. But this doesn’t necessarily mean the food is safe to eat. If the chicken is raw, it could be full of harmful germs. This means you’ll have to prepare the food yourself. Ideally, you’d always get food that is fully cooked. This is because all bacteria dies in a temperature of 100 degrees Fahrenheit or higher. So, if the chicken was cooked in the microwave, you’d be able to eat it without worrying about food poisoning.

According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the following temperatures are safe for chicken to be cooked: 60 degrees Fahrenheit for meats that are not sold raw, 70 degrees Fahrenheit for poultry, and 165 degrees Fahrenheit for meats that are sold raw.
