Jello is very easy to make but takes a long time to set up. You can buy gelatin from any food store and be done in 30 seconds. That’s what I did today. I put a tablespoon of unflavored gelatin in a cup and two cups of boiling water. I stirred to get the gelatin dissolved. Then I covered the cup and let it sit until it was cool enough to handle. I poured it into a bowl and added the liquid food coloring and a few drops of alcohol to give it a pinkish-purple color. The liquid food coloring stains the gelatin pink. I gave it another stir and set it aside. I poured the gelatin into the container. I cut two large leaves from my plastic container. I poured a couple tablespoons of strawberry jello into the container. Then I added two more tablespoons of strawberry jello and let the jello set up. I poured it out of the container and into a glass for a pretty jello mold. I wrapped the remaining strawberry jello with plastic wrap and stored it in the refrigerator. The finished jello looks great and tastes great too!
