What To Do With A Rutabaga
If you’re like me, you probably don’t peel the rutabaga before eating it. But what do you do with a rutabaga once it’s been peeled? The key is to simply cook the rutabaga like you normally would. To do this, simply place the rutabaga into a pot of water and boil for 20 to 30 minutes or until tender. Rutabagas are an excellent source of Vitamin C. They are also a good source of fiber, magnesium, potassium, Vitamin K, folate, vitamin B6 and dietary fiber.
How To Cut Up A Rutabaga
If you want to peel a rutabaga, it’s best to cut off the ends first. You can do this by holding the rutabaga in your left hand, and slicing off the ends with a knife in your right hand. Then hold the rutabaga in your left hand again, and slice across it from top to bottom. Make sure to cut the potato straight across, not diagonally. To remove the skin, cut a small X on the top of the potato and hold it under running water. Make sure that the rutabaga isn’t fully submerged, or you could get some splashes. Be careful not to cut too deeply or you’ll lose too much of the rutabaga.
