How to air fry meatloaf
We have tried meatloaf using different methods, but no matter what method we use, it always falls apart and we have to toss it. That is why we decided to try air frying the meatloaf, which has become a lot more popular recently. Since this is such a great method, we decided to share the details of how we air fry our meatloaf in an air fryer.
[Caption]: Before we start cooking meatloaf, we need to prepare the air fryer. We have chosen a rectangular air fryer, and have used a standard 16 oz meatloaf pan.
Cooking meatloaf in the oven
Meatloaf is a favorite at our house. We like it plain, but if you want, you can spice it up. First, let’s talk about ingredients. You’ll need pork, beef, veal, and veggie mince, along with some good quality breadcrumbs. We like to use tomato sauce. Next, you’ll need a mix of herbs and spices. These can include onion, garlic, paprika, and thyme. You’ll also need some finely grated cheese. Next, add the meat to a bowl, then add the rest of the ingredients and mix everything together. Now, roll the meat mixture into balls, roughly the size of a golf ball. Then, bake the meatloaf in the oven at 180°c for around an hour. When you remove the meatloaf from the oven, top with tomato sauce. Then, put it back in the oven for 10 minutes to warm the meatloaf through and crisp the top.
Meatloaf Recipe
Some time ago I wrote a step by step guide on how to make a homemade air fryer on air cooking. Although the idea of making a burger by air cooking is not new I had never seen the air fryer in action. I loved it, so much so that I immediately wanted to make another burger in this machine. But I was left a little confused about how to do this. The instructions were not specific enough for me to really figure out how to do the meatloaf in the air fryer. So I decided to do a little research on the internet and here is what I found. According to a recipe from the book Happy Healthy Cooking the meatloaf recipe should be made in a small loaf pan. The recipe says to mix the flour, 1/2 cup of the milk, 1 egg, 2 tablespoons of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of pepper. Make sure to mix everything well. Once everything is well mixed you should pour the mixture into the loaf pan and let it cook in the air fryer for 15-20 minutes. Then you can either bake it in the oven at 300 degrees for 20 minutes or leave it in the air fryer for 20 minutes.
What are the best cuts of meat for this
For any recipe involving meatloaf, it is best to use a cut of meat that is easy to grind. This will make sure that the loaf is a consistent thickness. For the meatloaf recipe in this video, I used pork, and ground it finely with a meat grinder. For the meatloaf itself, I used extra lean ground beef. Once the meat is ground, you will need to mix in your spices and other ingredients. First, I sauteed the onions and minced garlic in a frying pan. Next, I added the pepper and oregano to the onions. Then, I added the mixture to the ground beef, mixing it all together. Finally, I mixed in the breadcrumbs. The end result was a nice and moist meatloaf.
Air fryer is the new oven
The air fryer has a reputation for being expensive, and not as reliable as other ovens. But we’re here to tell you that this is no longer the case. This type of oven is becoming more and more popular. In fact, according to the World Air Fryer Association, nearly 200,000 air fryers were sold in 2016. It was the top-selling appliance in the US during that year. That’s a good number considering that the air fryer only made up about 0.1% of oven sales. That said, it’s important to note that not all air fryers are created equal. So make sure you’re buying a quality air fryer.
