How To Make Birria Tacos

Birria is a traditional Mexican dish made of goat meat and is a traditional meat in the southwest region of Mexico. Birria tacos are traditionally made with ground goat meat and wrapped in a corn tortilla. Some people prefer a harder tortilla and wrap it around the meat and vegetables rather than a softer corn tortilla. However, there is a traditional birria taco that includes a softer corn tortilla and it’s easier to make. As with the traditional recipe, the hard tortilla is wrapped around the meat and vegetables and then baked or grilled. The differences between the hard and soft tacos is that the hard tortilla is not cooked as long or as low as the soft corn tortilla. If you want a more authentic birria taco, you can use chicken meat instead of goat.
