If you do, you will need to remove the contents of both the inner and outer sacks. This is done by scraping off the stones and debris inside the gizzards. Once you have removed the stone and gravel, rinse the inside of your gizze with water and let it dry. Then, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.

Chop ’em up, add’em to any recipe, or serve”im plain. Gizards are delicious when cooked right, so don’t let them go to waste. And they’re great left out on their own.
