Today’s recipe is for pork tenderloin with a sweet and spicy glaze. You will need:
* 1 pound pork tenderloin
* 3/4 cup ketchup
* 1/4 cup brown sugar
* 1/4 cup honey
* 1/4 cup chili sauce
* 1/4 cup white vinegar
* 1/4 cup soy sauce
* 1/4 cup canola oil
* 1/4 cup water
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Cut pork tenderloin in half to create two thinner pieces. Season with salt and pepper and coat with canola oil. Cook for 12 to 15 minutes per side. While pork is cooking, combine the rest of the ingredients in a bowl. Pour marinade over top of pork and let marinate for an hour.
Pork Cooking Guide
Pork is a lean meat that contains more protein than any other type of meat. It can be prepared a variety of ways, including grilling, roasting, and cooking in the oven. However, pork is very lean and can dry out quickly if cooked in high temperatures. This can be remedied by keeping the oven temperature to around 250°F to 300°F. Cooking pork in this temperature range will also help create a moist and tender final product. After cooking, it’s also important to let the pork rest. This will allow the juices to remain in the meat and prevent it from drying out.
Cook Pork in the oven
Preheat the oven to 425F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil. In a bowl, mix together the ketchup, soy sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Add the pork tenderloin to the bowl and coat evenly. Bake for 10 minutes. Turn the oven off and leave the pork inside the oven for 15 more minutes. Slice and serve.
Grilling Pork Tenderloin
Put the pork in the oven for 40 minutes
There are many different ways to cook a pork tenderloin. You can put it in the oven. Or you can grill it. Or you can pan sear it. The great thing about putting the pork tenderloin in the oven is that you can simply turn it over halfway through. This makes it easier to check the progress of the meat. If you put the tenderloin in the oven, you want to start with the oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit. If you place it in a skillet, you want to have the skillet on high heat. You want to turn the heat up to high if you put the pork tenderloin in the skillet. You can cook the tenderloin for an hour or until it reaches the desired degree of doneness. At the end of cooking time, remove it from the heat and let it rest for at least 10 minutes. This will give the meat a chance to cool down. It is recommended to serve the tenderloin at room temperature. You can cook a pork tenderloin any way you like. But when you’re cooking, it is important to pay close attention to the recipe.
Turn the pork
This is a great way to prepare a tenderloin. Make sure you cook your tenderloin in a hot oven at a high temperature for about 5 minutes on each side.
