Many restaurants offer a variety of different grilled cuts of meat. Some of these include: filet mignon, rib eye, sirloin, flank steak, tenderloins, file potatoes, short ribs and more! The best way I know to grill meat is to start with the outside of a steak. Then, you will want to take the meat off the bone and remove the fat. Next, cut the steak into thin slices and place them on a grill pan. Grill the slices for about 2 to 3 minutes per side. After the first few minutes, add the sliced meat back on top of itself. Continue to do this until the entire steak is cooked. Once the whole steak has finished cooking, remove it from the grill and let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes. This will allow the juices to redistribute and the temperature to return to normal. Now, take it off of heat and serve it with sauce, salad, or whatever you like. Should you marinate a filet mignon?
Marinades work well on prime cut steaks, which are usually quite lean and juicy, though they will also work on tougher steels and cuts. Marinade works well when applied to any steak, regardless of age, size, etc. For example, you might marinade prime ribeye steak, chuck roast, sirloin, flank steak or other cuts of beef. If you do not have a marinating solution, simply rub the meat with the marination solution before cooking. This will help tenderize the muscle fibers and prevent them from breaking down. Do not marinated meat too long, however, since the fat will begin to separate from the lean meat.

Why is my filet mignon tough?
Recall, There isn‘t much fats in this filete. High heat rapidly denatifies the proteins strands which makes them tougher and chewier. This is why the centre of our filets are always perfect when cooked. Conveyion—transferring heat from the pan to all the ingredients—is gentle and will bring everything to perfection without overcooking anything. (The same applies to sauces, souffles, etc.) In the past, we would have had to cook the filetes slowly until they were done, which meant that we had less time to enjoy them. Today, however, convection cooking means that the entire fileting process takes place in about 15 minutes, so we can enjoy our meals while they cook.
Why is my beef tenderloin tough?
Overcook it; Tendon is the leanest cut around and should be served medium rare, which means it should only be cooked to 140 degrees. Use a cooking thermometr to check whether it reaches that temperature. If it does, add more liquid to it and cook it until it becomes tender. This will ensure that it gets moist and tender without being dry. You can also use this method to cook other cuts of meat, like brisket, chuck, or rib eye. Just be sure to keep the meat well covered when cooking it to avoid drying out. And remember to remove all the fat before cooking any meat to ensure tenderness. When using a meat thermometer, be careful not to overheat it since it can burn your fingers.
Is it better to cook a steak in the oven or stove?
While you normally wouldn‘t use this method to roast steak; however, if there are thick cuts of beef, such as ribeye, you should consider using an electric oven. This method allows you to sear the steak well without overloading the cooking pan. You can also use the same technique to bake a steak on a grill. Just make sure to turn the heat down low enough so the temperature doesn’t exceed the internal temperature of your meat, which can cause the outside of steaks to become soggy. There are also many other ways to do this, including using a cast iron skillet, a skillet with an aluminum handle, or even a pan with nonstick coating.
