In this video I am making green chili enchilada sauce. And yes, that is really the name of this sauce. I’m going to be explaining the ingredients, and then I’ll be making the sauce. Ingredients I’m using are enchilada sauce, green chiles, onions, tomatoes, cumin and garlic powder. First thing I’m going to do is peel the skin off of the tomatillos. Now I’m going to use a potato masher, which is very safe to use and not really difficult. Take off the husk and some of the leaves, and then cut up the tomatillos. For this recipe I’m just going to use a food processor. So, I’m going to process that whole mixture through the food processor until it’s about a smooth consistency. I’m going to add some of the cumin and garlic powder and mix well. So, you don’t want to use too much cumin, just a teaspoon or two at most. And then I’m going to add some of the enchilada sauce. And of course some salt, and then I’m going to mix well. That’s my green chili enchilada sauce. That’s how to make green chili enchilada sauce.
