The Bounty Hunter Dog
Bounty Hunter is a reality show that tells the story of a dog and a human team hunting for fugitives. It’s been on the air since 2005 and has been called “one of the weirdest and wildest shows on TV.” The dog on the show is a dog and a police service animal. He was originally called Bounty and he used to work for the FBI, which is why he is named after the federal agent. He also has a name tag that reads “Agent 001”. The dog has been trained to “apprehend fugitives on the run.” Although he can do other jobs, such as dog detection and tracking, he was specifically trained for the job of apprehending fugitives. Bounty Hunter was brought up by Police Canine Services and they started working with him when he was 3 months old. Bounty Hunter and his handlers from the police department have worked together for 13 years.
The Dogs
There are many dogs on the bounty hunter show, but the ones I’m interested in discussing are Hondo and Mutt. Hondo is a cocker spaniel, and Mutt is a Chihuahua. Hondo is the main character, and the leader of the two. He’s very intelligent, and is used to picking up information. He often sees things that others don’t, and is good at seeing things that others don’t. Mutt is the stereotypical scamp. He’s lazy, and does things on the spur of the moment. He’s also a big goofball, and loves being a goofball. He’s easy going, and doesn’t mind getting dirty. Hondo and Mutt are joined by their partner, Magnus, and Magnus’s partner, Otis. I’ll be focusing on Hondo and Mutt.
The Hunters
Buster is the main character on Dog the Bounty Hunter. His name is a pun on bounty hunter, which is a term for a person who is licensed to hunt down fugitives. The bounty hunter is not a hero in the traditional sense. It is more of an occupation than a profession, and is generally disliked by those who do it. Hunters typically do the dirty work, often in low-income neighborhoods and unlicensed areas. The hunters are not special agents of any law enforcement agency, but instead hire bounty hunters to do the dirty work for them.
A Dog’s Life
A dog has a great life, right?
However, most dogs are kept as pets by their owners, and are not really well fed, or cared for in the way they would be in the wild. This can lead to all kinds of problems such as anxiety, aggression, and obesity. As well, many of the dogs that end up in shelters are not adoptable, so they are either euthanized or returned to their owners.

A bounty hunter is a person who hunts down wanted criminals and brings them to justice. While some bounty hunters use guns to do their job, most use canines. The term is a blend of “constable” and “cattle drover”. The term comes from the historical role of a constable in the UK. Their duties included “bagging” or apprehending criminals and bringing them back to the county where they live. A constable was also responsible for rounding up runaway livestock. Bounty hunters also use dogs to search for their quarry. Dogs have a high sense of smell, allowing them to find people, drugs, and other items that would be hidden from the human senses.
