I think it would be amazing if shanks was a devil fruit. Yes, he has extreme powers but he also is very human and that’s what makes him so interesting.

So what is Shanks? Shanks is the main protagonist of the Nickelodeon show “Invasion of the Body Snatchers.” He’s a blonde, kid with glasses, and is played by David Henrie. He’s obsessed with making it big as an actor and joined the Monstars Academy in order to get some training. He winds up being thrown into a tournament that’s actually a battle between the humans and a race of aliens called the Alienplants. During the tournament, the humans are suddenly transformed into the bodies of the Alienplants and start attacking the Monstars Academy.

In the anime One Piece, there is a character named Shanks. He is a ship captain and can manipulate the sea. It’s also said that he has a devil fruit in his body. What is a devil fruit? Well, in the anime One Piece, it’s the ability to turn into a Devil Fruit user. He was a tank and part of the Fishman clan, meaning he had the ability to transform into a fish. His devil fruit name is known as Brook. There are four major types of devil fruits: Heart, Giganto, Dopant, and Onion. The Heart Devil Fruit allows the user to turn into a shark. The Giganto Devil Fruit allows the user to turn into a giant ball of energy. The Dopant Devil Fruit allows the user to turn into a mushroom. The Onion Devil Fruit allows the user to turn into an onion. The ability to turn into an onion is what Shanks has. Shanks is a fisherman, meaning he uses a large fishing net.
What is “Aka”, as in Aka-Mau
In the anime, the English dub (meaning the original voice acting from the English dub) of Aka-Mau is voiced by Mike McFarland, as he is also a voice actor for other characters in the franchise. But what does “Aka” mean as in the Japanese name? In the official wiki of Dragon Ball Super, the spelling “Aka-Mau” is written in Japanese, meaning it is pronounced Aka-MAH (not AKA-Mau). It is also written as an acronym for Aka to Mahō, which means “Aka is to Grand Magic”. To even further confuse things, the acronym is also known as Aka-Mau. The very next sentence in the wiki however, states that Aka-Mau is the Japanese name for Aka-Mau.
The Great Ape and the Devil Fruit
Today, a great ape, named Shanks, lives in an extremely remote forest. Shanks, or Bushman to his friends, often spends his time looking for trouble. He frequently becomes intoxicated and ends up in all kinds of trouble. One day, Shanks meets a man named Captain Jack Sparrow who asks him to help with his plan to find the Fountain of Youth. Shanks agrees to help and they set off on their journey to find the Great Ape. Along the way, they meet up with a strange girl named Crackers. She seems to have a vendetta against Shanks, and she keeps trying to attack him. On their way to the fountain, Shanks gets more and more intoxicated and his actions become even more ridiculous.
