I’m kind of a health nut, but I don’t like to make the kind of sacrifices that these new-age health nuts seem to be willing to make. I bake potatoes a lot, but I’ve never tried peeling them, not even once. I do feel bad about this, though, because some people do bake their potatoes in foil pans. I’m not always successful at resisting, but I’m always successful at sticking to my plan and eventually meeting my goal. So, here’s a plan to try to resist a really bad craving.
How To Bake Potatoes
You know how you start to feel your hands getting cold when you’re outside? That’s because the cold air is going through the little holes on the inside of your glove and right into your fingers. And if you’re like me, you may not be used to holding a potato while it’s still hot. So, to prevent your fingers from getting cold, you’ll want to take a few precautions before you bake potatoes. First, wash your hands with soap and warm water. The grease from your hands will get transferred to the potato and it will be much easier to peel after the potato is cooked. Second, use gloves. It’s okay if you’re a bit rough with the potatoes, but you’ll want to keep them on until they’re finished baking. And finally, peel the potatoes before you cook them. You’ll be able to see if there are any spots that are raw and you’ll be able to remove them before they turn into blackened pieces of potato.
