What is gluten?
Gluten is a protein found in wheat, barley and rye. The protein is used in many foods and baked goods to give them the structure they need to remain firm and chewy. It is usually added during the manufacturing process, but sometimes people with celiac disease, an autoimmune condition that causes damage to the small intestine, can have an adverse reaction to the gluten. Celiac disease is not the same as celiac disease. Celiac disease affects the small intestine only, whereas celiac disease is a systemic disease that causes damage in the small intestine and other parts of the digestive tract. This means that people with celiac disease are usually still able to absorb vitamins and minerals properly. But some people with celiac disease may experience other symptoms such as stomach pain, diarrhea, and weight loss. The Food and Drug Administration regulates gluten as an additive to foods. Gluten is not allowed on products that have a warning label if they contain barley, rye, or wheat. If they have the label “contains:” they may also have gluten. This label is added when wheat, rye, or barley is used in the product. A common product that has the gluten warning label is bread. But bread isn’t the only thing that contains gluten. Your favorite red velvet cake may also contain gluten, which would mean you can’t eat it without checking the ingredients. You can also buy gluten-free dressings, breads, cookies, and other foods at specialty grocery

Which KRAFT Dijon Dressing should I buy?
Kraft Dijon Dressing is a highly acidic dressing that is commonly used to dress sandwiches, chicken salads, sandwiches, and hot dogs. Some people have found that they can have a reaction to the gluten in Kraft Dijon Dressing. This is called a celiac disease reaction. Celiac disease is an autoimmune disease in which the immune system attacks the lining of the small intestine. People with celiac disease can’t digest gluten, which is found in wheat, barley, and rye. When someone has a celiac disease reaction, the immune system will produce an antibody called an anti-tissue transglutaminase 2 (anti-TTG2) antibody. If this occurs, a blood test called a tTGA may be able to find evidence of celiac disease.
