DeLuca also apprenticed at the Cafe Gambero Rosso in the Cimitero Vecchia area of Rome. After working for 2 years, he opened his own pizzaiolo in the Campo dei Fiori area of Rome. He worked there for 4 years and then opened his own pizzeria named Pomodoro, which is located in the southern part of Rome, Italy. He is now the head chef of his restaurant and is known for his great pizza, pasta and wood oven breads.

De Luca pizza is a popular pizza in Italy and is also popular in other parts of the world. He invented pizza with pepperoni because he used to work as a cook in a pizzeria. He wanted to offer a pizza similar to that of a pizzeria in Naples. He tried to create a pizza with pepperoni because he thought pepperoni was delicious. He added pepperoni on the pizza because he thought it would make the pizza more appetizing to the customers. De Luca pizza is very popular because of the cheese on the pizza. This cheese is made by adding cream to mozzarella cheese. It is called “pizza alla de Luca” because it was invented by de Luca. Pizza alla de Luca is very delicious because of the cheese that was added to it.
The shop
The shop opened its doors just after 9am. There were just two managers and two cooks. The owners got home from 9-5 office jobs at the bank. A long day.
It was 8am when they opened, when the first customers arrived. We helped them find seats. The kitchen was full of hot, fresh, smell and the cooking was great. At 9.30 we were already half full.
