Recipe of Turrón of chocolate with almonds

Ingredients:

1/4 kg. milk chocolate

210 gr. dark chocolate for desserts

100 gr. of lard

200 gr. of whole almonds

Olive oil

Preparation:

We start by toasting the almonds in a pan with a few drops of olive oil, stirring constantly so that they cook well on all sides.

Toasted the almonds, in a bowl over low heat we begin by undoing the lard, to later add the chocolate in batches. We stir well until the two chocolates and the fat are perfectly integrated, and at this point we add the toasted almonds.

We will pour the mixture of chocolate and almonds into a tray or wide container that allows us to make a nougat with a thickness of more or less one centimeter once all the contents have been added.

You have to let the mixture of the chocolate and almond nougat cool for about 3 hours before unmolding. Then, we will keep it wrapped in paper.
