I’ve always loved making chicken salad sandwiches. It’s so much more delicious than it sounds. I often make chicken salad sandwiches as lunch for my family and I love it. So when I got the idea of a chicken salad sandwich with pecans I thought it was a delicious new combination. I did have a hard time finding a recipe, so I searched and found a recipe that was pretty much what I was looking for. It worked out great.

The pecans are in this salad because they’re a good source of monounsaturated fat, which is a type of fat that may reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.
