You probably don’t want to throw chicken in the oven, but some chicken breasts should be cooked for a long time, like the skin should be golden brown and the chicken should be cooked through. Some chicken breasts take longer to cook, so you’ll want to make sure that they’re fully cooked before you eat. This chart shows the cooking time for various thicknesses of chicken breast. You should generally cook chicken breasts for eight to ten minutes on each side. However, some chicken breasts will take longer to cook. If you want to know how long the chicken should be cooked for, you can just measure it with a ruler.
