This is a very common question that I get asked and I love when my customers ask me to make green beans in a crock pot. It is a great way to make green beans that is easy and can be made ahead of time. To make them, you’ll need: 2 lbs. of green beans, 4-5 cloves of garlic, a 14 oz. can of whole tomatoes, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp pepper, and 2 14 oz. cans of diced tomatoes. Then, you just throw everything in the crock pot and let it cook on low for 4-5 hours. You can use either whole green beans or cut your beans in half lengthwise.
