What is Quesadilla?
Quesadilla is a Mexican dish consisting of a tortilla sandwich with a filling of shredded cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and pepper. It is typically made with one large tortilla, but there are some variations of this recipe. It is thought to have evolved from the way in which hot tortilla wraps were eaten, and is often served with refried beans, guacamole, and salsa. Quesadillas are typically eaten at breakfast, lunch, or dinner. They are also eaten at picnics, and can be found at many fast food restaurants. Quesadillas are one of the most popular dishes in Mexico, and they are usually associated with Mexican cuisine.
Quesadilla or Pancake?
Pancakes are made in the same manner as quesadillas. To make the perfect quesadilla, follow these steps. Beat 4 eggs in a bowl. Add 2 tbsp. cream cheese and 1 tbsp. melted butter. Stir well. Heat a heavy skillet or griddle and cook the eggs on the pan. This will prevent the eggs from sticking to the pan. Cook for about 1 minute on each side. Butter one side of a flour tortilla and fill with egg mixture. Melt 2 slices of cheese on top of the egg mixture. Fold tortilla over and press down firmly with a fork. Cook for about 1 minute on each side. Flip the quesadilla over and cook other side for about 30 seconds. Cook on a hot skillet until cheese melts. Cut into desired sizes.
