When you mince and boil the potatoes, the starches can cause your dog to have an upset stomach, but when you cook it, the starches are broken down so it’s not as bad. I have some of my dogs on a raw diet and they do great. They love it, and I don’t have to worry about them getting an upset stomach. However, when I was playing around with recipes and came up with this one, I tried it and they didn’t like it. So, if you want to experiment with this, do it on a small scale. If you’re feeding a lot of dogs, I’d suggest cooking some separately and feeding just that portion to them.
