A Family Tradition
I’m so honored that my family came up with a family tradition. For Easter, each year, we all eat a single Whopper Jr. with cheese and drink a shake. That’s it. No cake, no icing, no sides. Just the burger and shake. Even our kids participate. It’s a simple tradition that I look forward to each year, and I think you’ll love it too. This family tradition is called “Whopper Jr.”
Whopper Jrs and Pizza
Whopper Jr is a fast food hamburger that you can customize with toppings. The burgers come in a “mini-patty” that is about 1/3 of the size of a regular Whopper. The burgers also include a choice of three toppings: lettuce, tomato, or lettuce and tomato. Whopper Jr is sold in the United States at McDonalds and Burger King.
A bowl of calories
Calories are units of energy, which is usually measured in kilojoules (kJ) or kilocalories (kCal). The world standard is set by the international food service standards organization (IFSAC), which measures energy using the Metric System. However, the standard is rarely used in the United States, so most food companies refer to the US food and drug administration (FDA) standards.
A Special Salad
A calorie is a measure of energy, or the amount of energy it takes to raise the temperature of one gram of water by one degree Celsius. As a measure of energy, calories are used by nutritionists to evaluate the nutritional value of foods. On the other hand, the total number of calories in a food is not necessarily the only thing that matters when eating that food. A food can have many different nutritional values, which can change depending on the time of day the food was consumed. Therefore, it is important to evaluate foods by how they will affect the body.
Beating The Calorie Bomb
You’ve probably heard before that eating foods high in calories can cause you to gain weight. But did you know that it’s not just food that can cause you to gain weight, but also beverages? If you drink a large amount of calories in beverages such as soda, you can easily gain weight if you don’t monitor your diet. That’s because beverages are often high in sugar and calories. This can especially be true for soda. If you eat more than you drink, your body will tend to hold onto any extra calories, putting you at risk of weight gain. If you want to control your weight, then you should keep in mind that drinking beverages with sugar and calories is not recommended.
