Slow Cooker Pork Carnitas

Ingredients: 1 4 pound pork tenderloin, cut in half lengthwise; 12 ounces pulled pork, store-bought or made from scratch

Place the pork, fat-side down, on a large nonstick skillet or in a medium-size oven-safe casserole dish that has a cover. Turn the heat to low and cook until golden brown, about 5 to 10 minutes. Turn the pork over and cook the other side until golden brown, about 5 to 10 minutes. Transfer the pork to a large slow cooker or Dutch oven.

Reduce the cooker heat to warm, and use two forks to shred the pork.
