The salad has 52 grams of fat, which is 32% of the daily value (DV). It has 76 grams of carbohydrates, which is 40% of DV. It has 5.7 grams of protein and 4 grams of fiber, both of which are below the DV. The apple pecan salad has 18 grams of sugar, which is 38% of DV. This is significantly above the recommended maximum of 10% of DV. The salad also has 16 grams of sodium, which is 48% of DV. Although there is no nutritional value to consuming foods high in sugar, fats, and sodium, too much of these can cause health problems. The macadamia nuts, butter, honey, and bacon are all added in the preparation of the salad and contribute to the extra calories.
