There is nothing worse than getting sick. Everyone hates feeling unwell, and we’re all guilty of overindulging at least once in a while. But if you’ve been to a pub or a party and all the food was better than your regular diet, you might be in for some unpleasant surprises.

Vomiting after eating is a very common symptom. After a full stomach, you may feel your stomach contract and you may feel a sudden urge to vomit. This is actually a natural reflex, and is caused by a chemical called CCK. This chemical is released in your stomach to tell your brain that you’re hungry and that you should eat. This is done to prevent you from being poisoned by the food you’ve eaten. Because the food we eat can make us sick, it’s important to remember this and also to wash your hands after you eat.

Sometimes it can be a sign of a more serious problem. In this case, it may be a sign of a medical problem, or you may have ingested some food that wasn’t digestible or that contains a bad taste.
