Cooking is a lot of fun, but also a big time commitment. There’s the prep work, the clean up, the actual cooking process, and finally, eating. It’s easy to get distracted by other aspects of cooking like socializing with your family or watching the news, but this isn’t something you can put off until later. You need to get up early and cook now. If you want to avoid all that hassle, and you just want to have a quick dinner on the table, you should try cooking a pork tenderloin in the oven. Here’s how to do it.
How to Cook Pork Tenderloin
The easiest way to cook pork tenderloin is to use a slow cooker. To cook the pork tenderloin in the slow cooker, remove the pork tenderloin from the package and discard the marinade. Put the pork tenderloin in the slow cooker and pour 1/4 cup of water in the bottom of the slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours. Check the tenderloin halfway through the cooking process, and if the pork is tender enough, remove it from the slow cooker, and slice it. If the pork is not tender enough, cook it for a few more hours. If you use a pork tenderloin that was frozen, place it in a hot oven and heat it up for around 10-12 minutes.
Pork Tenderloin With Rosemary-Olive Oil
Let’s learn how to cook pork tenderloin in the oven! Firstly, preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Then, remove the tenderloin from the package and pat it dry with a paper towel. It’s a great idea to season the meat before cooking, which gives you more control over the cooking process. In a small bowl, whisk together one egg with 2 teaspoons of water. Then, season the meat with salt and pepper. Using a small spoon, spread the egg mixture all over the tenderloin. You can also use salt and pepper, or sprinkle it with Italian seasoning. Now, lay the tenderloin in a large baking dish, so it’s not touching the sides. Next, drizzle the tenderloin with olive oil. If you want, you can also sprinkle some rosemary on top of the olive oil. The meat should be seasoned, and you’re almost ready to cook it! Place the meat in the oven, and bake it for 15 minutes. Then, turn the oven to broil for another 5 minutes. The pork is cooked now! Serve with a side of vegetables and brown rice.
Pork Tenderloin With Lemon and Mustard Sauce
Pork tenderloin is often served as an entrée, but it can also be used to make sandwiches, pulled pork or pork patties. In addition, there are many different ways to cook pork tenderloin. One of the most common ways is to pan fry it, but you can also roast it in the oven, grill it, or braise it in a sauce. When cooking pork tenderloin, remember to let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes after cooking. This will allow the juices to redistribute and the meat to remain tender. You can serve it with a variety of side dishes, including baked potatoes, buttermilk mashed potatoes, and sautéed vegetables. This recipe is for a pork tenderloin with lemon and mustard sauce. The cooking time for this recipe is approximately 20 minutes, but you can leave it in the oven for up to 45 minutes.
