Since starting this experiment I have had similar results to [Title]: Why am I getting a lot of gas in my stomach?. I believe this is due to my body being ‘conditioned’ to associate eating carbs with going to sleep. Before I started the program I used to eat dinner and snack between 5 and 7pm, and just about every night I would have either a very light dinner or a snack before bed. I wasn’t exactly in a calorie deficit but I was definitely eating too many carbs, and not enough fat. I now try to keep my calories between 1800-2000 for the first meal of the day, and 1200-1400 for the second. I wake up in the morning feeling better than I have felt in a long time, and I look forward to a good workout.
