I have a confession to make: I love these. They are so sweet and deliciously simple. Also, they make a perfect gift for people who love me, since they come in little containers. I also make them as a topping for ice cream, and they are amazing! When I was a little girl, my mom used to make something called “candy apples.” They were nothing like these. My mom used to roll walnuts in egg whites with cinnamon, sugar, and a little bit of water, and bake them in a pan at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. They were amazing. Well, I tried to make a candy apple, but these are the closest I have ever come.

I have a food blog on which I post food recipes. The recipes come from the websites of many restaurants in San Francisco. The food blogger I share this blog with is a very large food blogger, so I get to try a lot of restaurants and try a lot of food in San Francisco.

Today I’m going to share with you my favourite San Francisco restaurant, Cora. Cora is a beautiful restaurant located on the Embarcadero in the Ferry Building. My friend visited Cora for the first time just a few days ago, and she already talks about it like she’s been there for years. Cora is known for their food and for their ambiance. In fact, they’re one of the most expensive restaurants in the city. So, I can’t say how much they cost, but the amount of food in a typical meal is $75-$90, so it’s not cheap. Even the Sunday brunch is around $120, but I really recommend you to try it because it’s the best brunch in the city.

I like walnuts, so I decided to make candied walnuts. They’re a little sweet, which means they’re good with brown sugar. The candied walnuts are also a little chewy, which is why I decided to make them with salt instead of sugar. The salt gives a little bit of a bite to the candied walnuts. But, if you don’t have salt, you can still make them, but the candied walnuts won’t be so chewy.
