Just the other day, my family and I were taking a walk around the block, and we found ourselves on the verge of being in an epic food fight. After making our way down the street, I decided it was time to look for a new restaurant that would serve licorice pizza. You see, when I was in grade school, I used to dream of having my very own slice of pizza filled with that oh-so-famous candy treat. In my dreams, there was no doubt that the pizza was going to have a brand-new taste and flavor thanks to the addition of a few drops of fudge sauce. Since my childhood dreams were shattered by the time I reached adulthood, I vowed to never eat licorice again. However, as the years passed, the longing for a deliciously fudgy slice of pizza became stronger and stronger. I ended up creating my own personal take on a licorice pizza by blending together the flavors of my childhood dreams and reality. My family and I were in love with the outcome, so we decided to share our creation with the world!

Pizza Licorice is an original recipe from 1937, but you might be surprised to learn that it’s not available in many stores anymore. The first Pizza Licorice flavors were Grape and White Chocolate. Then came Hot Dog and Strawberry. Next came Cherry, Apple, and Peach. The final Pizza Licorice flavor, which was never officially released, was Bavarian Chocolate.

I started using 4G wireless and found a cheap Motorola phone. I wanted to use my bluetooth headset with my bluetooth car stereo, but the wireless network was too slow.
