But the success of your business is defined by the decisions you’re able to make. So it’s important to know which direction you’re heading in, and be able to make that decision quickly. At this stage, we recommend selecting a business structure that will allow you to focus on your business in the early stages. From a legal perspective, this might include creating an LLC or S Corp. If you want to be an employee, this might be the best way to start. But if you want to have more control, then an LLC or S Corp might be the best choice. As part of that decision, we recommend you learn about the tax advantages of the different structures. For example, an LLC provides significant tax advantages if you want to hold your business for your own personal use, versus a S Corp. This is an important consideration if you’re thinking about working for someone else. The decision also involves your understanding of your business model and what you want your business to look like.
