Some of the foods that make you more vulnerable to sickness are listed below. Chicken and eggs can make you sick if you don’t eat them in moderation. This includes eating too many eggs or having a chicken sandwich. Chicken and eggs can also be a source of salmonella. Salmonella is a type of bacteria that can cause diarrhea, stomach cramps, and fever. Sauces and gravies can also make you more susceptible to a foodborne illness. Sauces such as ketchup can increase the risk of salmonella. Gravies can also be a source of food poisoning if you eat too much. Too much salt can also make you more susceptible to certain foodborne illnesses. Some people think they can be used to replace salt to prevent their bodies from being overstimulated. But this isn’t the case. Adding salt to food is better than eating foods that are high in salt without adding salt. Processed foods that are high in sodium can also increase the risk of food poisoning. Processed foods are typically processed to get rid of excess water. This makes them dry, which can cause your body to react negatively. Processed foods can also increase the risk of bacterial infections.

Try a good old fashioned soup, like chicken noodle or beef barley, to get your day off to a healthy start. If you re feeling well enough to get to the grocery store, think about grabbing a few of your favorite ingredients and putting them together to make a soup or chili, and having some to eat while you re resting. Most of all, try and stay hydrated, and drink plenty of water.
When Should You Have Breakfast?
If you re feeling under the weather, you don t want to have anything to eat that would make you feel worse. Instead, try having a light breakfast, like fruit and juice or a bowl of cereal. This helps you stay energized throughout your day. You should also try to eat a few high-protein foods to help keep your energy up. High-protein foods include eggs, nuts, cottage cheese, and yogurt. You may feel like you need to eat more than usual to feel better. This is okay, but try to avoid eating a lot. You may also feel tired, and have trouble sleeping. This is normal, and you should avoid eating large meals or lying down for long periods of time.

Eating the right foods when you re sick can help you feel better. Try to eat some easy-to-digest foods that are also high in nutrients such as:
