I usually have chicken chilli and I have been trying to make turkey chilli from scratch, the best way I could do this is to put in some garlic and onion, and sautee them for a while and add the ground turkey, and cook them as well. It took me a while and I know that it is not perfect but it was pretty good.

Things to Remember while Making Turkey Chilli

Don’t forget to use medium-sized spices, 1 teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon turmeric, ¼ teaspoon black pepper, ¼ teaspoon garlic, 1 green chili, 2 tomatoes, 1 tablespoon tomato puree, 1 teaspoon red chili powder, 1 teaspoon paprika, 1 teaspoon garam masala, ½ teaspoon coriander powder and 1-2 tsp oil. Chop the red chili, green chili, tomatoes and 2 chopped onions and put them in a mixing bowl. Mix the spices into the chopped vegetables and also put them into the bowl. Add 1 cup of water to the bowl and mix well. Let it simmer for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from the heat and let it cool down. Once the meat has cooled, use 2 pounds of turkey and cut the meat into cubes. Add them to the vegetable mixture and stir well. Serve with rice and naan and enjoy!
