This is one of my favorite recipes ever. The filling is a delicious mix of cream cheese and cheddar, but you can use whatever cheese you like. These are very easy to make, and they can be made with a variety of different ingredients.
Make These for Your Kids
Kids love these little jalapenos. There are many different ways to make them. If you’re looking for the simplest way, then look no further. For this recipe, all you’ll need is a teaspoon of canola oil, a cup of bread crumbs, six cloves of garlic, and some dried oregano. Then put the cloves of garlic through a garlic press, and put them in a food processor along with the crumbs and oregano. Make sure you add a teaspoon of salt. Then add the ground cloves to the bread crumbs, and mix everything together. Once the mixture is well combined, take a teaspoon full and stuff it into a jalapeno. After you’ve stuffed the jalapenos, put them in a 350 degree oven for 15-20 minutes. Remove them from the oven, and then place them on a cookie sheet. Now, leave them there until they cool, and then you can cut them in half. For this recipe, you’ll only need one of them, but it will fill you and your kids up. I recommend putting a few of these in a container of salsa, so they can have some as a snack.
Add the Rest of the Ingredients
All you need for the chicken is boneless chicken thighs. Now the rest of the ingredients are all optional, but I recommend adding them all. I used 2 cups of heavy cream, 1 1/2 cups of garlic, 2 cups of tomato sauce, and 2 1/2 cups of parmesan. Also, the pepperoncini peppers are optional but they’re awesome.
Finish Making the Jalapenos
For now, I suggest doing a do-over. Start by chopping the peppers to your desired size. Then you’re going to make a spice mix with the recipe below. Then rub that mix on the peppers and place in the oven for about 30 minutes at 400 degrees. This will caramelize the peppers, giving them that charred flavor you’re looking for.
How to Use
JALAPENOS! YUM! One of the best foods I can think of. I love it and I know you will too!
Prep the Ingredients
First things first, you’ll need a couple peppers. You want to remove the seeds from the peppers, but leave about one inch of the pepper intact so it can stand up. You’ll also want to pull off the stems, but make sure you don’t cut into the peppers too much. Then, you’ll want to wash the peppers well. Next, you’ll need to cut the pepper in half and cut out the seeds. While you’re cutting the pepper, you’ll want to make sure you remove all of the membranes from the pepper. This can be quite the tedious task, but don’t be discouraged. Then, you’ll want to remove the pepper’s stems. The stems are in the center of the pepper, which will make it easier to prepare. You’ll want to cut the stems into about half an inch pieces. If you are using jalapeno peppers, you’ll want to remove most of the veins from the pepper. Next, you’ll need to wash the peppers well. For this recipe, you’ll want to wash the peppers in a sink or a large pot filled with water.
