Yeast is something we don’t usually think about when it comes to baking. In fact, we’re pretty used to baking without yeast. There’s a reason for this though. Yeast is the main ingredient in breads and cakes. Yeast is usually added to the dough right before baking, and then is removed right before baking. When baked, the yeast releases CO2 which then expands to make the bread rise. But there are ways to make pizza dough without yeast and baking powder. How can we do this? First, let’s think about why yeast is usually needed in the first place. If you think about it, the dough has a lot of bubbles. These bubbles are usually created by adding the yeast. The dough is then put in a large baking pot and then covered with a dome of hot water. The dough is cooked for a while, which causes the bubbles to expand and then pop. As the dough is rising, the water in the pot is being vaporized and absorbed by the dough. So, the process of baking is really just a process of building and popping bubbles. To make a pizza dough without yeast, you’ll need 1 cup all-purpose flour, 2 teaspoons baking powder, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt, and 2/3 cup of water. Mix all the ingredients together well. You may also use your food processor to blend them up. The dough is ready when you form it into a ball. Then, you’ll need to let the dough rise. To do this, you can put it in a warm place, like on top of the stove, or in the oven. The dough should double in size in a few hours. Recipe
While you can still make a pizza without using yeast or baking powder, you’ll have to adjust some of the ingredients. To start, you’ll need a pizza stone or baking sheet. Next, you’ll need to buy some pizza dough. The dough is usually already prepared, but it’s important to let it sit in the fridge for at least 15 minutes. Then, you’ll want to prepare your toppings and sauce. To make the dough, combine 2 cups flour, 1/4 cup warm water and 1/2 teaspoon salt in a bowl. Stir to combine and let rest for 5 minutes. Combine 3 tablespoons olive oil and 1/4 cup warm water in a separate bowl. Add yeast and mix until a dough forms. Add 1/2 teaspoon sugar to yeast mixture. Knead dough for 8 minutes. Then, cover with a bowl and rest for 30 minutes. Place on a floured surface and roll out into a thin, rectangular shape. You can now add your toppings and sauce.
