Why does my epoxy tumbler have dimples?

Dimple are caused when the resin is heated too much and the polymerization process is interrupted. This can happen when you over torch the epoxies too fast. You can avoid this by keeping the curing temperature stable and by using a cover. If you torch too light, you might get dimple. Also, if your eproxies are too hot, there will be a risk of microdust particles being trapped in between the two layers of resin. When you do not torch enough, overtoring can cause the dimpled area to become larger. For more information, check out our article about epo/epoxy resins.
