Muffin pans should be greased, and filling should be poured into pan. 2. In a large bowl, mix yeast, sugar, shortening, water and milk and let it rise. 3. Mix sugar, flour and salt together in another bowl. Add milk and mix to make a soft dough. 4. Heat water and mix with yeast. Add to sugar dough. 5. Add buttermilk to the dough and mix well. 6. Add shortening and mix until combined. 7. Coat a muffin pan with shortening and grease it. 8. Cut dough in half and make 10 doughnuts per batch. 9. Bake in preheated oven at 180°C for 15 minutes. 10. While doughnuts are baking, mix together remaining ingredients. 11. Put glaze mixture on doughnut. 12. Let doughnuts cool completely before serving.
