Baked brie is delicious and easy to make. It’s a simple recipe that takes a little bit of effort to master, but it will have your family begging for more!
Prepare the Brie Cheese
Preheat oven to 200°C. Cut the brie into 8 slices (4 slices per side). Evenly spread the butter over the brie. Lay the brie in a 10 cm x 12 cm baking dish and cover the cheese with the rest of the butter. Bake for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven, sprinkle the brown sugar over the brie and bake for an additional 10 minutes. Sprinkle over the cinnamon and bake for an additional 5 minutes. Remove from the oven and serve.
Make The Breadcrumbs
While many recipes call for breadcrumbs in the finished dish, breadcrumbs are not necessary to the process of making the dish. To make the breadcrumbs you’ll want to start with a loaf of bread. First, cut the loaf of bread into slices. Then, cut each slice in half, forming two equal pieces. Finally, cut each of these pieces in half again, forming four equal pieces of bread. This should be enough to make the breadcrumbs for the recipe.
Toss With Your Favorite Seasoning
For the first step, get yourself a pair of kitchen tongs. Then take a small amount of softened butter and place it on the bottom of a 6″ spring form pan, patting it into place. While the butter is still softened, place a piece of waxed paper directly on top of the butter, and then place another 6″ spring form pan on top of it. This is a sandwich maker. Put the spring form pan with the waxed paper on top in the freezer for about 2 hours. If you don’t have a freezer, you can put it on the counter or in a room that will stay cool. After the butter is firm, use a sharp knife to cut the butter into slices. Set the slices onto a baking sheet and freeze them until they’re completely frozen. Once they’re frozen, take a small amount of room temperature brie cheese and place it on top of one of the frozen slices of butter. Then use the spring form pan and place it in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Take the spring form pan out of the refrigerator and put a sheet of parchment paper on top of the brie and the butter. Then take a small amount of room temperature sharp cheddar cheese and place it on top of the brie and butter. Wrap the whole thing in foil and freeze it until it’s ready to be used. When it’s ready, put the foil-wrapped brie in the microwave
