Would you believe that you can make a delicious pretzel salad? And it only takes 5 minutes! Now you can add almost any kind of salad ingredient that you like. This makes a great salad to bring to a potluck or party. You can also add a delicious pretzel crumb or even cheese to make it a complete snack!
How to Store the Pretzels
In order to make a good pretzel salad, you need to store the pretzels properly. When you make this salad, you want to store the pretzels for at least 4 hours before adding the cheese. This will allow them to get warm, soft, and gooey. The cheese will melt and the pretzels will combine with the cheese. To store the pretzels, first rinse them in warm water. Next, put them in a plastic bag and put them in the refrigerator. When it comes time to serve, just place the pretzels in a shallow bowl.
How to Serve the Salad
This salad is pretty easy to make. We start with warm pretzel rounds that are topped with brie cheese, then we add a spicy cream cheese dressing and top with smoked paprika. We serve it with cilantro lime rice, but you can serve it over a bed of greens, on top of pasta, or as a snack. It’s great on its own or with soup for a starter. This can be a wonderful gluten-free salad to serve on a cool summer evening.

Since the pretzel salad is made up of pretzels, remember that they can be a bit messy to eat. It’s good to use a serving dish to prevent any crumbs from getting on your clothes. Add chopped veggies to your salad. This will add color and additional texture to the salad. And lastly, dress your salad with an apple cider vinegar and a little bit of olive oil. This will add a bit of acidity, flavor, and brightness to the salad.
Use Puffed Wheat
Puffed wheat is one of the healthier cereals. It is 100% whole grain and contains no added sugar or artificial ingredients. If you don’t like the puffed wheat texture, you can also use regular wheat flakes. Either way, the added fiber is a great substitute. Combine the two into a salad, or serve with pasta. Simply place your cereal into a bowl, add the desired amount of lemon juice, olive oil, and salt, and mix.
