This is the way my mom taught me how to do it, and it is one of my favorite ways to cook them.
Country style boneless pork ribs are usually cooked with a vinegar, beer and tomato sauce. If you follow that recipe then you should be good to go. You can cook them in a slow cooker, oven, or on a stovetop. But here’s the trick: you want to cook them in a liquid. So, how do you get the liquid? That’s where beer comes in. Beer has a high sugar content, so it’s great for ribs. Add beer to the ribs, put them in the oven or on the stove and they’ll cook without burning. If you want to really kick it up a notch, serve them with a barbecue sauce.
One of the keys to a tender, flavorful pork dish is brining. Brining is the process of soaking food in a salt solution for a few hours or days. The salt acts as a preservative, helping to preserve the color and flavor of the meat. It also helps preserve the juices of the meat, allowing it to cook more evenly. Brining can also help to draw out moisture and prevent the meat from drying out too much. The brine will also season the meat, adding flavor and keeping the meat moist.

You can cook the ribs in a lot of different ways. You can make them country style, braise them, make a dry rub and smoke them, or do a low and slow marinade and let them marinate for a few days in the fridge. The country style is probably the simplest and easiest way to cook them. It’s just a lot of rubbing the ribs with salt and pepper and putting them in a pan with some oil. The pan will get super hot, and then you’re just waiting for them to sizzle up. That’s it! You want to cook them at a really high heat, and once they start to sizzle, you want to get them in and out of the pan as quickly as possible. They’ll take about five minutes to cook and then you want to baste them every couple of minutes with some BBQ sauce. Once they start to get tender, then you can take them off the heat and let them sit for a few minutes before cutting them. The beauty of cooking the ribs in this way is that they won’t get as tough as if you braised them or smoked them.
Prep is the most important thing when it comes to cooking ribs. Remove any excess fat and rinse the meat. Make sure to pat dry. Now that you’ve removed all of the excess fat, it’s time to start cooking! To get the meat nice and crispy, I like to use a cast iron grill pan. I usually set the meat on one side, then place the pan directly over a medium flame. Be careful not to burn the meat. As the meat gets more tender, I like to lower the heat to medium-low. Cook the meat for about 30 to 40 minutes. After the meat has cooked for a while, flip it over and cook the other side for another 30 to 40 minutes. You’ll want to flip the meat once every 15 minutes, but be careful not to burn the meat.
